What's Your Story?

What's your story? Everybody has one. What's yours?

Have you ever shared your testimony with anyone? If someone were to ask you how you came to know Christ, what would you tell them?

I plan on sharing my testimony here on Blessed... and would love for you to share yours too. When you post your story, make sure to link back to my post here so we can all share in the glory of what Jesus has done in our lives.

Testimonies are beautiful things. Tools in God's hands to show the world how He can set the captive free and make a broken person whole again.

Until the moment He takes us home our story continues...

So, what's yours?

When people used to ask me what my testimony was, I would ho and hum about how I was young and how I was raised in a Christian home - as if I was ashamed of it. Now, I'm so proud of my story, and I realize that a my testimony isn't just about one moment when I said a prayer (which was an amazing moment), but a journey of how God has gotten me to where I am on my journey. I look forward to hearing your testimony!

Oh, mercy! Have you been looking over my shoulder as I furiously write and rewrite in my notebook? I'm trying to get mine together for She Speaks! Thanks for the encouragement!!! I'll keep praying and working on it.

Hugs,
Susan

I recently posted my testimony over at Eternity Cafe. I call it "I was a Jewish Tax Collector!" because that's exactly what I was!

Wonderful idea! I posted mine about a year and a half ago. I'll pull it up and do it again when I see you are ready to roll with this.

Posting on my day of salvation? Every day my testimony grows as I am continually amazed by God's grace and everlasting love! I am so in love with my Heavenly Father he is too good to me! Miss you...hopefully we will get a chance to "bump" into each other sometime this summer.

I just posted a big part of my testimony (the whole thing would probably take up a month of posts!) ... please check it out and send anyone else to it that you think would be blessed by it!

Julie I have always felt the same as you but as I grow I can see that my testimony isn't just one moment or time but my lifetime of growth and inspiration that I receive from the grace and mercy of my Lord! It is amazing the love that God has for me and while sometimes I wish I had this amazing one time testimony I realize that God is working in me at all times and at all moments and even now my testimony continues!! (actually that felt so good writing that out!)
