We are seat of your pants-spur of the moment vacationers. Translated = not sure if we will have enough money to take a trip until summer arrives.
I see a couple of pennies in the vacation jar, so I'm trying to convince my husband to do something spontaneous and take a flight somewhere. Aren't plane tickets cheap if you book the day before?
Any of you jetting off somewhere?

I have no vacations planned :) but I am okay with that. I just came back from an amazing vacation and currently money needs to be spent elsewhere.
we're going to have a stay-cation for our anniversary this year in July. It's the first time we haven't gone away and I'm a little sad, but we just can't afford it. So we're going to turn off the phones and do fun things here (which probably means the BEACH!!) :P

Lauren, if I can't convince my husband to get on an airplane, a staycation is our getaway destination too my friend.
I am suppose to be a beach bum the last two weeks of July, but our "incoming" grandbaby is threatening his debut during that time. We sure hope he comes a little early...like before we leave! hahaha.

Staying home.
Oooh! I wish I were jetting off somewhere, but this summer, it's going to be several short driving trips! Mount Shasta to the north, Lake Tahoe to the east and maybe some quick day-trips to the beach. But, in all these places, I know God's presence will be felt...I can't wait!

We just returned from a whirlwind, 8 state car trip. Two weeks and 2,000 miles later, we're still married and the kids are still breathing!
Actually, we got to see some amazing places and re-connect with lots of old friends.
Hope you find enough change in your seat cushions to take that trip!

i AM at my "vacation"...we visit my in-laws who live at the beach every forth of July weekend.
Boy howdy, you girls are already doin' the vacation thing! I'm trying VERY hard not to covet.
But, I'm failing miserably.
