IMAGINE

Our children's ministry begins each Sunday in a room all together. Pastor Walt, our children's ministry leader, leads them in prayer and they sing worship songs together before being released to their classes. Today the children sang a song that is a favorite of our family's, 'Imagine' by Rob Biagi. Looking around the room at each precious child while hearing their sweet little voices sing the words to this song, my eyes misted over. Each small child is a miraculous seed of future hope. Oh, what they will do if they give their lives to the one who gave them theirs.

In my 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday school class I make it a point to teach my children that God loves them (John 3:16) and that He has a plan for them (Jeremiah 29:11-13). If they will just put their hand in His, they can't dream dreams big enough for what He has for their lives...and neither can we.

Your children at church are so lucky to have you in their classroom teaching them, encouraging them, loving them, and teaching them all about Jesus!!

I love Rob Biagi. We do the same thing before our Sunday school hour begins. We meet in the gathering room and have the same kind of thing before they head out.

I'm praying for you sweet friend as we leave 2007 and enter 2008.
I pray that He is everything to you and the greatest desire of your heart.

I'm so glad I found you this year!
Many hugs and blessings~

That is a beautiful song - both the words and music. I never heard it before.
The blog I looked at before yours had the same theme posted today - even used the same verse from Jeremiah. What a blessing to know that God has a plan for us, and for our children!

Wow. Great song. I have not heard of it or Rob Biagi before. I can only 'Imagine' hearing it from the little ones! But, what a great reminder for my narrow mind, too!

Happy New year to you! I pray you have enjoyed your holidays!!!
I have a question for you!
I am starting a new feature on my blog, each Tuesday, called "Titus Two Tuesday". I would like to post a testimony from women telling about their Titus Two's and how they affected their lives. Would you be willing, and have time, to share something? You could email me your testimony, including pictures of yourself, the person, or whatever you think might add to it. I would love to have you contribute to it, as I think you would add so much!
God Bless!
