Disneyland Sibs Trip 2008

**From left to right, George, Jennifer, Amy and Me.** This was taken in the California Adventure park, Amy's first time on California Soarin', my absolute favorite ride!

If Disneyland with the whole family wasn't enough fun in July, I went again with my brother and sisters this last week. All four of us, no children, no spouses. We may not be the smartest group of siblings in the world, nor the most talented, but we are quite funny. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time. My stomach hurts almost as much today as my feet do!

**Waiting in line for the Pirates of the Carribean ride.** I got really good at stretching out my hand and taking our pictures.

The road trip down with George and Jennifer was so much fun. Our nine hour driving time went really fast. We had been advised by my sister Jennifer to make our own music CD's to share. These CD's were created to be a compilation of our favorite songs. Once on the road we each took turns putting on our music. Before each song played, we each gave a ten second intro as to why this song was included on our favorites CD. Once the song began playing, if we all loved it then we'd listen to it until its end. If not, we went on to the next one. I wasn't surprised at all with Jennifer's music choices, George on the other hand was a different story.

Here are a few pics of our time together. Amy wasn't able to meet up with us until yesterday which was a bummer. But she's is back to school now, getting her general ed classes done to move forward with her dream of nursing. We are so proud of her.

**In our 3d glasses, leaving The Bugs Life show.**

I tried to include some funny videos that I took while there, but I don't seem to know how to upload my personal videos to my blog yet. Do any of you girls out there know how to do this?

Wow. What fun!
Glad you all have had a blast together. What a great idea - just the four of you.

*As far as the video upload, you can either upload to youtube or blogger has their own on the post page. It's one of the little icons at the top of your compose page. But, that one takes quite a while - at least on my computer. :)

What a great idea to have a trip with just your siblings. I hadn't thought to do that, but I might have to suggest it for next summer for my family.

My family also has 3 girls and 1 boy. Your brother is brave - I don't think we'd get my brother to go away with the 3 of us!

That looks like so much fun!! You have a beautiful bunch of siblings!

I think my sister and I need to plan a trip like that. We would have a blast. Can't remember when we have been anywhere just the two of us, no kids.

You are truly blessed, my friend!
Love ya,
Starr

I'm speechless. I have had it on my heart to do a sibling trip with my two brothers, but I've hesitated in throwing the possibility out there because, well, it's two brothers. Lots of people do sister trips, but I wondered if they would think it odd to head out with their sister. Reading about your trip made my heart sing! Maybe there's a possibility after all!

Thank you for stopping by my blog...God used it in a very unexpected way!

Joyfully,
Melinda

I want in! To the family that is. I want the invites to the theme parks. I want the road trips. I want someone skipping over my favorite song on my comp CD.

I WANT IN!

And for the record... you've said in the past that I would get along great with Amy... and Jennifer.

So... LET ME IN!
