So...have I got a suggestion for you!

It's that time of year again. The Summer break from your woman's Bible study is almost over. So what Bible study are you doing this year? If you had told me ten years ago that I would love in-depth Bible studies, I would have said you are crazy. The Bible? Really...cmon?!?

I would love to hear what study you are doing this year. If you are reading this and haven't decided on a study, or have little ones at home or a full time job, have I got a suggestion for you.

My darling friend Angie at The Knightly News, along with her sister Amy, are leading an online Bible study beginning in September. They will be doing Beth Moore's Jesus The One And Only. My girlfriend has done this one and LOVED it. I must also add that Angie is the sweetest and dearest Christian woman I have had the honor to know. I was able to spend time with at the She Speaks conference. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She lives to serve Jesus and to love Him to the fullest. Her life has been not without it's heartaches, losing her sweet sister Wanda in February. The Sisters of Faith blog began with all three sisters. Now with Wanda in Heaven, Angie and Amy are The Sisters of Faith left behind to carry on the work. I just know the Lord will bless this study.

Please sweet friends out there. I plead with you...get into a study. Make time for one. Your growth depends on it.

...and if you are unable to attend one at your own church, please go over and sign up for The Sister's of Faith online Bible study. I promise, you will be Blessed...

We do not take a summer break in our ladies bible study group. Though I think most of the groups do, we decided it was a right thing for us to continue. We are doing Beth Moore's Living Free. We do only one day (not five days=one week) at a time. So we still have 10 weeks left in it (week 5 and 6). Not sure what we'll do next.

I viewed Angie's video about her upcoming study. Her comments were gone so there was no where to comment...no link.

We went through Becoming A Woman of Confidence this summer, and it was amazing! We have not decided on one for the fall yet. I have not done Jesus the One and Only and will have to check it out.

Thanks for coming by my blog. And I enjoyed your post at Faith Lifts.

You are SO right doing a Bible Study - Being in the word is SO important. I keep thinking it would be great to join one of these on-line studies. But I'll be leading a study next month for young moms - such a precious group.

Great Post! I am probably going to be teaching another study this winter, so I am gearing up for that.
Wanted to stop by and catch up. It has been crazy at my house for the last couple weeks. I need to send you an email so we can get back on track.
Love ya,
Starr

Alicia Chole's "Anonymous: Jesus' Hidden Years and Yours."

I've read the book at least a half-dozen times and am now working through the corresponding study guide and dvd's. We'll begin in two weeks at our church. I'll be leading 50 women in the study and would appreciate prayers along those lines.

Truly, this study, perhaps more than all the others I've taken (and I've taken a ton...) holds one of the most relevant truths I've ever learned from scripture.

That my hidden seasons (times of anonymity and quiet) are the seeding of something sacred. Never to be regretted. Never to be rushed through. Always to be celebrated. You would love it!
