Happy Birthday Meghan!!!

Seventeen years ago today, you were placed in my arms. Soft fuzzy blonde hair, just like a baby duck and the deepest dimples I had ever seen. I thought for sure that God had blessed me with the most beautiful baby girl He had created. What joy I had when I opened up your little blanket to look at your miraculous little body. All soft and chubby, you were the most amazing and wonderful thing I had ever laid my eyes on.

God has blessed me in so many ways Meghan. I will always be grateful that He chose me to be your mommy, your mom. Being a part of your growing up years has not always been easy, but it has ALWAYS been worth it.

May God continue to bless you honey, as you seek His face to guide you through this last high school year and onto the next step on that narrow path.

Remember sweetheart, with God ALL things are possible, you can't dream dreams big enough for all that He has for your life.

I LOVE YOU!

Mom

Seventeen! I remember being seventeen, was it that long ago? Is it only 11 more years before my girl turns 17. OH my. She has your smile. She is a beautiful girl, not just the smile and hair, but she just sparkles, look at her, doing homework, and looking like the gift from heaven that she is. I wish you lived close so she could babysit for me;)
She is a lucky girl and you are a lucky mom.
Blessings!

Joanne, you must be so proud of Meghan! She's lovely.

It is precious to retell our children's birth stories as we celebrate the anniversary of their debut. We always do that with our darlings, too.

WOW! She's 17!! Better you than me to have a 17 year old. I find my children at the ages of 4,6, and 9 to be far too old already.

As for Meghan... her birthday caught me off guard last year when you all went to her school and decorated that big rock. I couldn't believe last year you had a 16 year old...

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGHAN! You are a wonderful testimony to the legacy of love your parents are weaving... and to the creative nature of God as He made you with joy, beauty, kindness, humor, thoughtfulness, intelligence, and unending love.

Loving you both all the way from PA today!!!

My oldest, Megan, just turned 18 a few weeks ago. Don't you just want to hit the pause button, knowing they will be leaving the nest soon? We need to enjoy every moment, even the hard ones!
A thought occurred this morning after my coffee. :) You and your sister were symbolic of Mary and Martha that day. I overlooked the significance of that detail in the revelation. God is so incredible!

My son just turned 17 last week. Wow did that go by fast. I should post about the miracle of his birth but it might frighten others from ever having babies. He is 6'4 and already has his own business in case Meghan is interested. :)

What a lovely young girl perched on the verge of womanhood. She has a darling face and such a sweet smile. I can tell that you adore her from the way you write about her. I hope her day was wonderful and that her senior year is all that she could hope or wish for.

You are blessed!
