Graveyard shifts are from the devil.
Probably not a good idea to write a post with only two hours sleep in the last thirty six hours....
But seriously, who in their right mind LOVES working graveyard shifts? Besides, of course, bats, rats and barn owls?
At the last minute I covered for a dispatcher and worked their 7pm-7am last night. There is a reason that a graveyard shift is called just that, a graveyard...nothing good comes from the night, nothing!
Go ahead, name me one nocturnal creature that doesn't stink like a skunk, impale you with some kind of deadly poison like a rattlesnake or look like this evil nocturnal Tarsier. A native from Asia who eats bugs...yeah, right...who by the way, looks ALOT like me right now.
Obviously working graveyards hasn't agreed with her either.

I used to work nights when my kids were younger and it's the pits. As a matter of fact - that could have been me in the picture above!
You are so funny!!!!! Hope you get some sleep, girl!
LOL! I love the picture! I have worked all night several times before and so has my hubby...I fully agree with you...it is horrible.
You asked me before either here or on Facebook about my hubby working at the PD...yes, he works there part-time...nights and weekends. They schedule them a couple of days per month but he is their primary go-to-guy for fill in...which is quite frequently. He loves it.
Hope you get lots of much needed sleep.
Blessings!
Oh my...GO TO BED!!!
Nighty-night!
Are you kidding me? That is the cutest picture ever. EVER.
And you are equally adorable. :-)
Get some sleep... (and yes, it is 11:49pm so if you choose not to read this post till tomorrow morning after I squeeze in 6 hours of sleep... that's alrgith wtih me.)
Straight for the devil...I agree! To Funny! hope you get some sleep!
I hope by the time you read this you are well rested. I'm not good without sleep...NOTHING good comes from the night.
Love,
Angie xoxo
Oh, bless you! I am NOT a night person and would never make it. I pray you're sleeping right now.
I agree, nothing great comes in the night, but SLEEP!
Love,
Beth
Two hours of sleep in 36 hours?!! Girl, get some rest. I would be a maniac with such sleep deprivation. My family would lock me in my room until I slept and could come out resembling a human.
I am extremely impressed that you can formulate coherent sentences with so little sleep.
well i happen to think this little critter looks so doggone cute! as i'm sure you felt when writing this post...yah right!
i did that ONCE in my lifetime. at a lumber mill. oh baby, it was awful. had no life. tortured trying to sleep during the day. i surely do not know how those people do it and i hope God blesses them a bit more cuz they do!
thanks for the lovin' today btw! ☺
Oh my. That's what I look like too. (:
You're hilarious. What a delight to discover you!
Oh man, so what kind of job do you have - on top of cleaning rental toilets?!! Make a mental note to never cover the graveyard shift again...
Oh...My....Goodness! Seriously - go to bed! Let me know if you need me to pound on your door as a wake-up call before the kids get home! LOL. Sweet dreams, my friend.
That is freaky looking. I hope by now you've recouped on your sleep.
I am currently working nights 7p to 7a in a group home. I tell you there is definite sleep deprivation going on. I feel like I never have time off before it is time to go back to work. But also one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Although I have to admit I thought the picture was cute! :)
That does not sound like fun! Hope you have recovered!!
