I LOVE getting to know all of you girls. I have so many questions I'd love to ask you. If only we could have a chat over coffee...I'd have tea...and a cinnamon roll, or two.
If I have questions, does that mean I'm nosey? Well, I'm going to ask anyway.
I promise to return the favor and allow you to ask me a few yourself.
First me. What Bible study are you gals doing this year? If you've read Blessed... for more than a few days, you know how much I love me my women's Bible studies.
This fall I'm doing "The Patriarchs - Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" by Beth Moore. Just started last week. I had to hold back tears during the first video, where Beth explains the meanings of the names of God.
Am I pathetic, or what?
What about you? What study are you girls doing? What study are you thinking about doing?
Was that too nosey? Then let me be the first to open up the lines for any questions you may have about me. Go ahead and fire away. I can take it!
I have a surprise gift for the best question.
Hmmm...maybe this isn't my best blog-post idea.
Remember how much I adore you girls and play nice now.

You are not nosey sweetie. I love all of Beth Moore's studies. I have a question for you, are you ready??? If you had the opportunity to talk to one of the following, who woud you choose, and why? Mary(mother of Jesus), Ruth, Deborah, martha, Mary(sister of Lazarus) or Sara?
Great question!! I am doing 2! I am taking Disciples 1 through our Methodist church. Our teacher is our preacher, and he is amazing! The other one I am taking is Precepts/ Isaiah part 2. This is by Kay Arthur--not led by her of course!!The teacher forthis one is amazing as well! Wow! Both are deep, but I have been led by the Spirit to drink His Word this fall! I am not teaching, simply bein g a student! This is new to me!
Ok, my question is about your time yesterday! Did Jesus meet you there and did He walk with you and share His Word during your time? :)So glad you got to do that!!
Hugs,
Susan
Hey there!
I am doing "The Lies Women Believe" on my own right now but I am looking forward to starting a Bible study this fall with the ladies from church. I don't know what study we will be doing but I am looking forward to accountability and fellowship.
Smiles!
Right now I'm in 2nd Thessalonians with my Sunday School class. We'll be moving on to the book of Acts in Sept. I'll also be leading a women's small group studying "Overcoming Fear", using a Woman of Faith guide and the brand new "Fearless" by Max Lucado.
My question for you: WHEN can we have our phone call!! Can't wait to talk to you, my blessed friend.
Susan
I don't think you're nosey at all!! I am finishing up a Jennifer Rothschild study. I am going to lead a Bible Study for a group of High School girls in the fall and I am thinking of doing a Beth Moore -- maybe Fruits of the Spirit. Not sure yet, but I am super excited about it! :)
Here's my ??? for you: why did you decide to start a blog? :)
I just finished a Bible Study called "Because of Jesus" by Connie Witter. It is excellent! I am starting a Bible study in October on Ephesians.
I am very nosy too! and that question wasn't nosy at all! We are about to start "No other Gods" by Kelly Minter. A few of us started it to see if we liked it and we did so now we are going to start it again & finish it with everyone.
I'm finishing a 6 week Jennifer Rothschild study from the summer. This fall my ladies Bible Study will be a Precepts study in Hebrews. We did a Beth Moore last year....and I so much prefer Precepts studies, so we are returning to that. I know Beth Moore is wonderful, but I'm just not a "fill in the blanks" kinda person. I enjoy going straight through a scripture study, rather than a lot of scriptures for the lesson.
You asked......sorry, but I do really prefer Precepts studies. I love the marking of the scriptures, the writing my observations on the work sheets, and probably get into that more than any Bible Study I've ever done.
well my friend - you know I love Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) we start up tomorrow and we will be studying the gospel of John. Can't wait! xoxo
