Random Unimportant Uneventful Us

Today is a random collection of unimportant drivel. Now is your opportunity to run for your lives. I am hitting a wall with blog-ideas. Any of you interested in sending me an idea or two, or seven?

After two days of working on my book, there are three brain cells still firing.

So...a little randomness:

Me: Wrote 2,500 words for my manuscript this week.

Paul: Nothing he cares to share. Party-Pooper.

Meghan: Blessed her mother with her presence during our family's Mother's Day yard cleanup on Saturday. Came back over on Mother's Day to hang out and go out to dinner with us.

David: "Mom, what are you thinking!? Meghan has never even shot a gun before!?" His answer after I told him what I wanted to purchase for her "going away to college" present this summer. "Mom, giving Meghan a gun is like giving me a boomarang. I've never thrown one of those before either."

Smart mouth.

Grace: Cleaned her bedroom closet before I became unglued. She must've saw the "crazy" in my eyes.

Samuel: Got over his second bout with a stomach virus in seven days. "I hate hard-heavin'." He mumbled. Poor baby.

...before you lose your minds in purposeless bandwith, it's time you blow this popscicle stand and head for home.

2500 words while dealing with a sick kid, yard clean-up and Mother's Day?! Wow. Totally impressed. Keep it up my friend, you'll have that book in print in no time. (Except all that time between the writing and the day the UPS man brings it to your door. Takes a while.)

Joanne, it doesn't matter what you blog about, drivel, whatever, you make people smile, and that's a gift. Hooray on your accomplishment of 2,500 words, Girlfriend! I'm proud of you, and miss you and our writing group.
Have you blogged about spring and what it means to you, or about your feelings about the changing weather patterns? Just tossing stuff out there...
