You Don't Look a Day Over Two-Hundred

Happy birthday America! What an honor to be a part of your two-hundred and thirty-fourth birthday celebration. Paul and I will be blowing out your candles at your party on the lake tonight.

In honor of your special day, people are itching to say a few words, friends who delight in their love for you, some who have been with you since your birth.

Where liberty dwells, there is my country. ~Benjamin Franklin

My God! How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy! ~Thomas Jefferson

It is my living sentiment, and by the blessing of God it shall be my dying sentiment, independence now and independence forever. ~Daniel Webster

Sure I wave the American flag. Do you know a better flag to wave? Sure I love my country with all her faults. I'm not ashamed of that, never have been, never will be. ~John Wayne

America lives in the heart of every man everywhere who wishes to find a region where he will be free to work out his destiny as he chooses.
~Woodrow Wilson

I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him. ~Abraham Lincoln

My patriotic heart beats red, white, and blue. ~Author Unknown

America, on your special day, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. I am thankful for your freedoms, your vast open canvas of opportunities, and like each year before, I will wipe away my tears of gratefulness under a canopy of fireworks.

Happy birthday precious friend. You know, you really don't look a day over two-hundred.

Hey Joanne,

Good morning...

Thanks for your encouragement on my blog this weekend.

Something is up with your page today. You may want to check your photbucket... Or, my computer is messing up.

When I try to log in to your site, it says "bandwidth exceeded."

Hope you have a great day.
