Cell Phones and Teenagers

Grace & Truth Living

At a restaurant this weekend, I couldn’t help but notice the family at the table beside ours. While mom and dad talked with their young son; their teenager furiously tapped away at her cell phone—texting.

Their daughter was no part of the dinner conversation;
 her focus was on the credit card-sized electronic device in her hand.

Today at Grace & Truth Living, learn how cell phones
 made their way into our family. And the rules we created to
 make sure this electronic device
didn't become the bully on the block in our home.

I see the same thing in college. Some of my students do nothing except play with their cell phones - even in class! Naturally, these students are failing.

One wonders what they will do once they get out into the real world where they have to hold down a job
