Blessed Books - Tuesday

'Believing God' by women's Bible study teacher and author Beth Moore is about exactly what the title proclaims...believing God. My girlfriend Celia had gone through the Bible study and read the book quite a few years ago. She loved this book so much that she bought it for me. I loved it too. My husband also has read this book and we are now doing the Bible study together...again another gift to us from my dear friend Celia.

The word believe is a verb, an action. Is your life bearing the fruit of a true believer? Are you just talking the talk? When you truly believe God for who He says He is, who He says you are, you won't just be talking the talk anymore, you will be walking the walk as well.

I am a present active participle!!! Took the study and loved it! Beth just has a way of helping you understand things of God! I have so enjoyed all the Bible studies I have done through her!

She's a favorite of mine as well. I am currently reading Jesus. 90 Days With The One And Only.

Oh and hey- when your schedule opens up... this is the only book study I wanted to Co-Host with you... :0)

I meant to say, "This is the online book study I wanted to co-host with you..."

Clearly the fact that there are three children wrestling (under the name of bull rides) in front of me have me a bit distracted.

You know, I bought this one a while back, but didn't really feel the 'timing' was right with me. Am still looking forward to studying it, perhaps once I complete my "Breaking Free" study, since she thinks of that one as the predecessor to "Believing God". I've heard it's a powerful one.

Thanks, Joanne, for commenting today. I have been missing your posts. I thought you had not been posting. I just realized that I didn't have you on blogfeed. YIKES! I've missed out!

Mmmmmm...you have brought up something I really need to chew on. Is it a verb in my life?

I have not done this study by Beth Moore. I will definitely have to look into it! Thanks for sharing!
