He is risen!

"He is not here, for He has risen..." Matthew 28:6

The summer of 1998 was life changing for me. It was in August of this year that I gave my heart, and my life to my wonderful savior Jesus Christ. I grew up thinking that relatives who spoke of Jesus, who read their Bible faithfully, who encouraged me to attend church and seek God were the strangest people I knew. My body would immediately bristle when my father would give me a cassette tape of a Bible teaching or give me a scripture to read, or when he would tell me yet again another cool thing he had learned about Jesus.

I try very hard to live my life without regrets, but not seeking the truth about God earlier is one that I will have to live with. Thankfully He restores what the locusts have eaten.

On this glorious day I rejoice with all of you. Jesus is not dead. He is alive.

And because of this miraculous day, so am I.

I love that you couldn't kick against the goads like Paul! Christ was calling and you finally answered yes Lord! Praise God! I remember being the same way with my dad! I used to say "Why can't you just talk to me like a regular person!" Little did I know that he was, a regular person in love with his Lord! How I wish I had that time back! Have a blessed Easter!

He is our Saviour and He loves us so much even when we are pushing Him away and wanting what the world has to offer.
I am so eternally grateful that He never gave up on me and loved me through all my sinful ways and b/c of Jesus and His sacrifice now sees me as holy and pure!
UTTERLY AMAZING!
Love ya'

1985 Easter, is when I accepted Christ as my personal saviour. So, this time of year means more to me too. Just wanted to let you know that our church had the same verse up today!

my favorite part is "the pharises couldn't stand Him and they found out they couldn't stop Him." This audio was actually made in 1976 Joanne, 3 years before I was born. You were 8 or 9 I believe. I am so glad you put this up on your blog, aren't you so happy I told you about this?!!
