Kung Fu Panda

Just a little reminder that there is a very cute movie in theatres right now.

Kung Fu Panda!

We took our youngest three to the matinee this weekend. It was just precious. Afterwards I did just what Lysa TerKeurst did and asked the children how many Biblical examples they saw in the movie.

We came up with quite a few.

Most importantly, that God calls the overlooked. He uses the impossible people to make His plans possible.

Can I get a big Amen and Hallelujah for that?!?

Oh Yeah! My guy is Gideon, ya know the one hiding out in the wine press! To God he was a mighty warrior! We loved Kung Fu Panda too! I could really identify with that Panda!

Well..I've been overlooked most of my life, so God oughta be ABLE to use me real good!

I think He is beginning to show me exactly how He will, too. I am excited!

Gotta see that movie.

Starr

I have got to go see that! I have heard several comment on it!

And in answer to the other question about summer/bloggin'....I feel it is entirely up to you! Don't feel pressured :)
If you have a burning scripture...share it...if you have cool picture....share it! You got somethin' sista---preach it!
AMEN!
I love you much!

We took my niece and nephew a few weeks ago and I must say, I enjoyed it. And I'm with Stone Gatherer - I love Gideon!! And I too picked up on the parallels in the movie.
And just for the record: MUCH better than 'Wall-E'. That's pretty much a 2 hour long PSA.

WOW, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your word with me on my blog. I prayed over all of the verses and asked God to use my fingers to hand-pick the verse HE HAD for you. I did not look through them. In fact, I have to admit that when I saw it I was thinking, "Oh, I wish it said "LOVED" or "CHOSEN" - what if she doesn't struggle with feeling able?

Then I remembered that I had prayed and that God was ABLE to choose the verse, and that He knew better what you needed than I ever could!

So glad I didn't interfere with that Divine plan. I loved hearing how it ministered to you and was a second time He'd placed it before you. WOW, I just love reading all these love stories that God is writing in our lives.

And now I need to go get me some Kung Fu Panda fun. Hope to see it this weekend with our boys.

Blessed,
Renee
