Is anyone as happy as I am?

I have tried very hard to keep my political thoughts from pouring over onto my blog. When news happens in the world I share my thoughts with my close friends and hubby. Whenever I have said that I should blog about this or that, my husband's response is always the same, "Your blog is not a political blog."

Well, who really knows what my blog is anyway? This tiny spot little speck on the world wide web is my personal space to share the inner thoughts of a Christian woman in the process of being made more like Him. These posts are a smorgasbord of my life, and today I am happy about something that can only be seen as political!

Me too and not so much because she's a she but that she will able the McCain ticket to be voted as President. I listen to John Hagee throughout the week on tv as I get ready for work. He keeps saying we need to vote the Bible. We need to take our Bible to the polls. Not literally but what we know the Bible says.

I'm thrilled!! Our family has been praying every night for months about this election. We firmly believe Sarah Palin is an answer to our prayers. Her values and her spunk are awe-inspiring!

She has the ability to energize a group of voters who have not had representation before at this level--women! The women who have run in the past have not represented my values or interests or those of the majority of my female friends. Sarah Palin is a REAL woman, mom and wife.

To quote a line from The Muppet Movie, "Patriotism swells in the heart of the American bear."

Regardless of political views or election results to come, clearly Sarah Palin is an amazing woman and will be used in many amazing ways in the next few years. Our prayers will be with her as well as all of our leaders.

Yes, I am as happy as you are about this VP pick. I too have tried not to get too political on my blog. As expected though, the picking apart has begun. I get so aggravated at the media.
