SIBLINGS ROAD TRIP 2008

My two sisters and I decided to do something fun, something together...alone. Yes, we decided to take a trip without our ten beautiful children, and without our four lovely spouses. So on Thursday my sister Jennifer showed up at my house in our rental car, honking the horn like a battle cry. My brother George ran up to help me with my bags, and we were off to Southern California to meet up with our youngest sister Amy.

Our first stop, beautiful Solvang, California.

What a wonderful time I know you had together. As I get older, family becomes so much more important!

Your Solvang flag brought back memories. I went to college in Santa Barbara and got to know the little areas around that area pretty well. (Westmont was my school)

From your last post about Bible studies, we are starting a Beth Moore study this fall, "Breaking Free--Making Liberty in Christ a Reality of Life" I will be my first Beth Moore study as we have done Precepts studies the last six years, which I have loved!

Hope we hear more of your sibling trip! I think it was a great idea and I know you were blessed!!

Enjoy your days of summer!

Oh what a great idea! What I wouldn't give to do a road trip with my siblings. There are 4 of us within 5 years of each other and we are so very close. I'm so glad you had fun!
