Snow...in California???

Apparently, a snowfall at 5am can be heard by children in California.

This native California family has all the best in snow gear.

My stalker-walker friend Gina, even talked me into walking in the snowy-slushy-mess. This picture is for you Roger (Gina's never-sits-down-for-a-second-dad)...I'm not such a wimp after all right? Remember, you said I was back in your good graces!

The last snowfall we had was four years ago, on a Sunday. The kids were doubly blessed that they could play in it all day. God blessed the children again this time too. They are all home from school today for the President's holiday weekend.

As my darling hubby would say, "God loves you, but we're His favorite."

Wow - 4 years since you had snow? And there was no school either time? You are blessed!

Wow...beautiful snow fall and happy children! It is in the mid-60's in Arkansas all this week.

Enjoy the snow...might not come again for another 4 years.

Yikes. Snow in Calli is scary. We're no stranger to it here. Visit my blog and see the picture on my last post--not the one today but the previous one...click on that pic...it's an amazing beauty from God.

No snow down in the lowlands, but we are grateful for lots of rain!

We had a heat wave the past 2 days (up to the 40's!), so I can now see my lawn for the first time since early December. It's been snowing on and off all winter, but only 3-6 inches at a time. Just enough to be annoying. And it's been so cold, nothing melted. There's still patches of snow, but we can deal.
We have lots and lots of snow gear, but does my son ever wear a warm coat? Nope. Oh, well.
Hope to see you in sunny NC this summer! I registered!
