Lurkers, this post is for you!

Do you see this lovely lady here? To the untrained eye she is an adorable gal, probably somebody's friend or daughter, sister or wife - or quite possibly someone's mother.

But, I know better. She's a lurker.

Lurker: A reader of blogs who desires to move around the blogosphere undetected, and observe without participation.

I LOVE lurkers. I was a lurker once myself. I have family and close friends who are lurkers around here. But, this week, it's time for you to speak up, let me know who you are. In perfect blog fashion, answer some questions for me. Like, where are you from? What makes you tick? Who is your favorite author? Are you a morning person, or night person? Do you believe children should be seen and not heard, toilet paper over or under? Mustard with your hot dog or plain?

This blog post is about YOU, so let your voice be heard!

Hi - I'm not a lurker, but I'll answer your questions!
I'm from Michigan, I love my family. My favorite authors are Max Lucado and Karen Kingsbury. I'm a night person and most of the time I like to hear kids. TP goes over, for sure and I hate mustard!!!

Hello sweetie. I am not a lurker, but am happy to answer your questions. I am from Tennessee, and I am deeply in love with my lovebug. I am a night person, hate hotdogs.

What a fun post! I'm not a lurker, but I am grateful to have come across your blog this week!!
My name is Cindy. I am from Michigan. I also am a mom of 4 kids. My favorite authors/Bible teachers are Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer. I love to celebrate and pray and drink coffee and share with others how awesome God is!! I am definitely a night person, but try to go to bed early for my husband's sake! And I don't like hot dogs :)
Many blessings to you!! :)

Well you know I'm not a lurker but I hope that some of yours pop out of the woodwork. It's always nice when they leave a comment so you can get to know some of your readers!

I am a lurker on some blogs, but wanted you to know that your blog is a blessing. I have moved so many times I don't know where to say I'm from. My favorite author is usually the one who wrote the book I'm reading. I'm a night person forced to be a morning person by my profession.Love children - seen and heard. You couldn't pay me to eat a hot dog. I'm sorry to say there are a few things I'm too busy to worry about and toilet paper would be on that list. Be blessed. Know that your blog makes a difference.

This is a techical question Joanne. Sometimes I read a post but don't comment. Maybe because I'm in a hurry or my brain is fried. Sometimes I don't really have anything to say in response. That doesn't mean I did not enjoy my visit. Is that lurking? If not, how often can you do that before this post is for you? b

Since I am not officially a lurker, I thought if I left without commenting and then came back to comment that it would suffice but how would you ever know I did that? LOL!
I have real life lurkers on my blog. My friends who I actually talk to in real life will comment to ME in real life what they saw on my blog but won't comment on my blog. It's funny really.
I hope you get some lurkers to unlurk!
HUGS

Hi, I am a bit of a lurker, although beginning to feel a little more comforatble with this big blogoshere. My name is Cheryl and I live in Brockville Ontario Canada. I don't have any one favorite author, in fact to be honest I don't often look at who wrote it. I am an avid reader but I must confess I do go by the front cover....it has served me well. I am neither a morning person or night person, I fall somewhere between 10am and 9pm. Toilet paper over/under, matters not to me. Mustard all the way. Kids should be heard all the time, they have loads of wisdom that they are not given any credit for. Blessings, CC

Not a lurker, but also a lurker :)

I love how almost everyone denies being a lurker. Denial is the first step. LOL

Hello everyone, my name is George and I am a lurker. I am also Joanne's favorite sibling. I am born and raised in San Lorenzo, Ca. What makes me tick as of late is getting to come home and feel my wife's pregnant belly waiting for any movement, and also listening to the heart beat through a monitor the wife got me for Christmas. My favorite Authors are Timothy Zahn, George R.R. Martin, Orson Scott Card, and Brennan Manning. I am neither a morning or a night person. I have no opinion on the child issue since I know zero about raising them. Definitely over, mustard only if it is dijon.

Hi Joanne!
Well I'm not a lurker, but I haven't blogged or responded in a while, so thought I would. :)

I'm from Orange County but have lived in SAn Diego for the past 12 years. Haha...right now sleeping makes me tick (since my baby seems to suck every ounce of energy out of me!). Favorite author: Karen Kingsbury, hands down. Usually I'm a night person but these days neither...I could sleep ALL DAY! I'm one of those people who gets down in the dirt and plays with the kids! Can't wait to do this with my little one when he arrives. If I could go back and do it over, I'd become an elementary school teacher, not an accountant!! Not a big hot dog fan...only over a bonfire at the beach! Toilet paper can go over OR under??? J/K!! :) As long as there is some on the roll I am a happy camper.

BlessingSs!!!
Kelli :)

Well not a lurker as you know but love your blog just the same. I may not always post, but I always enjoy! Hope lots of lurkers become posters with this really cute post!

I'm a lurker sometimes, so I'll comment. :)

I'm from Dallas, but I live in San Antonio. Lots of things make me tick, like worship wars and the prosperity gospel, but don't get me started. I don't have a favorite author, but I have favorite books -- a lot of them. I'm a night person, but I'm currently trying to change that by giving myself a bedtime. Children should be heard so that they may be discipled. Toilet paper over... always. It's gross the other way. Mustard and cheese with my hot dog, thanks. :)

I do both lurking and flashing. LOL

I am guilty of lurking. Mostly because I try not to spend too much time on the computer and leaving comments for ALL the blogs I read would take too much time!!
I am a SAHM of 5 kiddos expecting #6 in May. TP should always go over ;)

I am SO a lurker! I am from Placerville, CA but currently live in the beautiful inland Northwest town of Post Falls, Idaho. Hmmm...what makes me tick? Not sure. I don't have a favorite author but love books about my profession - being a wife and mom - and anything that can help me improve my job performance! If I have great coffee and something really exciting to do, I am a morning person. If I am hanging out with people I love and don't want it to end, I am a night person. I believe children should be both seen and heard. And toilet paper over, definitely! But I am happiest when a whole new roll makes it onto the holder. And mustard, definitely, with relish and onions, please!

Love your blog - keep up the great work!

Just to clarify I "flash" words. Don't want to scare anyone. :)

I'm just catching up on this and of course if I didn't leave a comment, I would *seem* like a lurker - LOL! Love your blog! I want to try and get my International readers to delurk one of these days - would be interesting.
