Little Miss Lydia

I've been around ALOT of brand-spankin' new fathers.
None compare to my little brother.
George gets top-billing for the happiest new dad ever.

George and Bonnie at the hospital...before the epidural.

 Impressive, huh?

We had to wear hospital stickers with our names on them.
Check out George's.

I had the privilege of being in the room when Bonnie and George delivered their first child.
I captured this picture as they worked together to bring their baby girl into the world.

(It's a miracle any of my pictures came out. I was a blubbering mess.)

I just love this shot.

On March 17th, a miracle came into the world,
and took her rightful place in our hearts.

 Lydia Louise
One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.
Acts 16:14

Congratulations on your darling niece.

I love new dads and the huge smiles they wear. I have such fond memories of my Gwynly floating two feet off the ground when our daughter was born.

And now, after reading, watching--and knowing you as my dear friend...I am a blubbering mess too. A dealer in purple cloth...she will be an incredible young lady for Christ!
