My Complain-Fast

It's time for me to go on a fast.

I've been grumbling and complaining about this upcoming dirt-camping trip.

Alot.

God's Word convicted me today.

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing. Philippians 2:14 NIV

For the rest of this week, I'm going to focus on the good things about being gone four days with an insane amount of pre-teens. As a matter of fact, I think I'll take a few lessons from this adorable Ms. Happy-pants in the video below.

I bet she's never camped in the dirt before.

Love it. My favorite is when she claps. A cheerleader in the making.

Ok, the typical Mom here, "What is she doing up there?!?!? She could fall and crack her head open!!!" Ha -- very cute!

I pray the Lord will give you strength! I need to join this fast -- even in my thoughts.

Love ya!

I bet she'd like the dirt as well... just the kind of camper you're going to have to sleep with...

Enjoy.

I'm putting my kid on the counter so she can overflow with gratitude rather than stand squarely on the floor and safely protect a bad attitude! It's akin to sitting at Jesus' feet and enjoying his company while there are hostessing duties being neglected...

Let's toss some well intended rules and start dancing on some counters and playing in the dirt with some kids...

God works miracles in the dirt - even spits in the dirt to rub mud on blind eyes...

Just love this! Wasn't much of an affirmations gal until I saw this little one. Thanks!
Bet you'll find some unbelievable blessing in the dirt.
