From Lemons to Lemonade

Forgive me friends. I made the big mistake of posting yesterday when I should have kept my delicate and angelic Proverbs31 mouth tightly shut.

You'll be happy to know that I turned to the Lord later, and was reminded of just what He says about busyness and burdens.

I took lemons from my post yesterday and made lemonade. Please head over to Laced with Grace today and acquit me of my whiny post-misdemeanor.

I heard a pastor recently say that so many Americans wear their busyness like a badge of honor. People respect people who do a lot and seem to accomplish a lot. Thanks for the reminder that it is not good to be busy all the time! Saying no is a really good thing!! =)

At Ava's school's Open House last week we really enjoyed looking over all the Science Fair projects on display. The best projects were the ones that you could tell parents let the students work on themselves. Yes, they were on the sloppy side, but it isn't meant to be a project for the parents. Sit back and offer guidance while sipping your lemonade :)
